Whew, Mac Dog and I made it through our first set of intervals this morning.
We set out to do 3x800M with 400M recoveries. Our target was a 7:48 pace, and we were consistently in the low 8's.
I was very happy with the splits; 4:02; 4:04; 4:05. While they were not negative splits or right on the money, the fact that we kept them within a 3 second spread is better than I expected.
